I should probably mention James Wilkinson, the general that preceded Jackson, he was a spanish double agent, and had once plotted with Aaron Burr to make the western states independent, this isn't a good sign, it's likely he would've lost every battle, possibly even intentionally, this would make the war situation very different by the end, so much so that the hartford convention might just turn secessionist
