That was definitly one of the clues. While Henry is hardly past his prime, he is a man of thirty and can't be called boyish.

KOA does not put up with any shenanigans. And yes, Arthur's plan had a few holes in it, least of all, his bride might be offended at being tricked. Thankfully, Isabel is already aware that he can be innocently insensitive and will forgive him.
