Vice-Pres Stevenson, I gather, was more sympathetic to the Silverites than Cleveland, so presumably Bryan won't challenge him in 1896. Can he win re-election, and what sort of Presidency would it be?
Also, what happens to Bryan? Does he emerge in 1900, or just never each the national stage at all - and with what consequences?
