Red Alert - Our 1953 USSR

We do need to mass invest into eletronics, but wasn't OGAS meant to control a planned economy?

Our framework is to descentralize and implement market reforms in to the USSR, a mix of Iugoslavia and China. I don't think the OGAS program is suited for it.
I mean, we could literally modify it's operation with our market reforms...
Oh guys we should also focus on reviving torn down cultures even our original Russian culture where everyone clothed themselves as feudal peasents
Why not create a festival similar to the Renaissance/Medieval fairs but with socialist touches?

Oh guys who’s prepared to actually make the civil rights for all races leading to the civil rights movement our constitution because if we make one where all races are equal truly then we’re the most progressive and “loved” nation ever

Save the Aral Sea.

Re-implement reforms like recognising homosexuality as NOT a disease, genuine female empowerment, criminalising conversion therapy from the 1917 reforms that Stalin undid.

Do not give up the planned economy but make it more efficient, only with a planned economy we can prevent any homelessness or hunger.

Massively scale down military spending go for quality over quantity.

Education system is already good since it's free for everyone, but fund it even more to improve resources and facilities.

Immediately invade Romania and do the world a service by getting rid of the lunatic CHOWSHESKOO. (Causeceau)

My ideas.

Considering how corrupt and how badly the system went I doubt we could fully end those things even if we wanted to.

Would be hard to do considering how conservative the Soviets were.

Ceausescu only came to power much later.
Apologies for the muffle up. Never let him come to power then.

Also fully supplant the Olympic games and replace them with the Friendship Games. End doping.

There's also that "Hitlerite-Marxist" dude in Spanish Guniea, he was the Pol Pot of Africa and we need him gone. Killed 1/4 of the entire population.

1-C. Someone needs to be the political right hand man of Zhukov, since he will most likely want to avoid getting down in the muck, and Voroshilov can fill that role for us.

2-The Chairman of the Presidium has no real power right? I’m not super read up on Soviet power structures. I would like Nikita Khrushchev to take the position.

Edit: Yes, the Chairman has no actual power despite their official duties, we can use the position to lock Khrushchev out of power.

Edit2: Changed my vote from Malenkov to Voroshilov.

C) Looking up his political affairs after Stalin's death IOTL, he seems like a good choice honestly.

As for the Chairman position, I also vote for Khrushchev.

I will always be against Khrushchev being in any powerful position.

I’ve looked it up, but the Chairman may officially be the head of state for the Union, but in reality they have no real power. That is why I’ve put Khrushchev there, to lock him out of politics for the rest of his life basically.

Ah then I'll change my vote, also what about my choice on Voroshilov...?

Just from an extra quick Wikipedia scan he seems to be a decent political operator. Not much to say about him, since most of his post war achievements were in the Supreme Soviet where he had minimal influence. Maybe becoming Premier makes him more politically active? I chose Malenkov as my vote because I felt we needed someone to pick up the political torch that Zhukov would definitely not carry himself. But Voroshilov could fill that role too.

I also did a quick look up on Malenkov, he attacked Zhukov during and after WW2 so I think that would leave some grudges between them if he became Premier...
